Aeroflot to Increase Flights to Maldives and Sri Lanka

Aeroflot has confirmed plans to increase the frequency of
flights between Moscow and two island nations in the Indian Ocean.

The airline will increase flights SU320/321 to
Malé, the capital of Maldives, from the current schedule of four
per week to seven per week, effective 1 October 2023.

Three additional flights, SU324/SU325, are
scheduled to take off on 1 November 2023 and will be operated on Wednesdays,
Saturdays and Sundays, giving the Russian carrier a total of ten
flights per week to what is traditionally one of the most popular
holiday destinations in Aeroflot’s flight programme.

Aeroflot will also increase the frequency of
flights to Colombo, Sri Lanka.

From 9 September, the
airline will operate thrice weekly flights, with the additional
service taking off on Saturdays from Moscow and on Sundays from
Colombo.

Flight SU288 is scheduled to depart from Moscow (SVO-С)
at 22:50, arriving in Colombo at 10:20 the following day. Flight SU289
is timed to leave Sri Lanka at 12:05 and arrive in Moscow (SVO-C)
at 18:40.

The extra service means that Aeroflot’s flights to
Colombo from Moscow will be
operated on Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays with return flights
to Moscow on
Fridays, Sundays and Mondays.
