A driver ran out of gas and was arrested after leading police on a chase in the East Los Angeles area Friday night, police said.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said the car was suspected stolen. The driver at times reached speeds exceeding 90 mph as she fled from deputies.
However, she eventually slowed to a halt on the eastbound 10 Freeway at City Terrace Drive. The sheriff’s department said she ran out of gas.
The woman and three others in the car then quickly surrendered to deputies.
