Child Found Safe, Vehicle Located After NW OKC Amber Alert

A toddler kidnapped from the back of a stolen vehicle was found safe Wednesday, police said.

Oklahoma City Police issued a kidnapping alert Wednesday afternoon in search of a stolen Infiniti QX50 that had a toddler inside. The vehicle had last been seen near Northeast 50th Street and Interstate 235.

The suspect was described as a white male in a dirty gray shirt and dirty blue jeans. It is not known whether that person is in custody yet.

In a post to the X app early Wednesday afternoon, police said:

We are currently searching for a 2019 Infiniti QX50 that was stolen from 4900 N. Harvey Parkway with a 2-year old boy inside. License plate JEP-370 with a white male, standing 6’0-tall, dark hair, and dirty clothes. Photo of child below along with type of car stolen.

The stolen vehicle is dark blue, police said.
