A fire destroyed a home in Hempfield Township, Westmoreland County, on Friday morning.The fire was first reported a little after 2 a.m. at a house on Middletown Road.Westmoreland County 911 said multiple companies were responding to the scene.A neighbor told Pittsburgh’s Action News 4 that home had been undergoing remodeling but no one was living inside at the time.
