The Arlington Entertainment District has a significant new addition with the opening of a full-service Starbucks at the northwest corner of Choctaw Stadium.

Arlington’s latest Starbucks is located at 1705 Nolan Ryan Expressway at the intersection of Six Flags Drive, across from the new Loews Arlington Hotel and Convention Center. An official ribbon-cutting for the store, which opened to the public early last week, took place today. The installation of the iconic Starbucks logo signage on the outside façade of the store was completed on Wednesday.

The 2200-square foot location offers the complete menu of Starbucks drink and food options through both in-store and mobile ordering. There is also in-store seating and a full line of Starbucks merchandise at the new Choctaw Stadium location.

The Texas Rangers worked with Starbucks on the planning, construction, and opening of the store over the last several months.

“The Arlington Entertainment District is the ideal location for a new Starbucks store,” said Texas Rangers Executive Vice President of Business Operations Rob Matwick, who oversaw the project on behalf of the team. “The current robust activity in the area will only continue to grow with the opening of Loews Arlington Hotel and Convention Center, One Rangers Way, and other projects over the next few years.

“The Starbucks location also is part of the further development of Choctaw Stadium, which continues to be a vital sports and entertainment destination in the Arlington Entertainment District.”

Store hours for the new Starbucks:

  • 6:30 a.m.-7:30 p.m.—Monday through Thursday
  • 7 a.m.-7:30 p.m.—Saturday and Sunday

Limited parking is available curbside on Nolan Ryan Expressway. Guests attending events at Choctaw Stadium can place mobile orders and pickup at the window located on the main concourse during regular store hours.

SBL Architecture Inc. of Arlington assisted with the design of the project. The general contractor was Facilities Contracting, Inc., based in Littleton, CO.
