GOLO opens distribution facility in Wilmington | The Latest from WDEL News

Wilmington Mayor Mike Purzycki joined with officials from the New Castle County Chamber of Commerce, and Delaware-based health and wellness solutions company GOLO, to cut the ribbon on a new, 80,000 square foot warehouse.

The event was held Thursday morning, November 9, 2023, at a newly renovated facility on South Heald Street.

Company executives said the facility will act as a distribution point for the company’s weight loss products, exercise equipment, and recently launched line of frozen, nutritionally balanced meals.

According to GOLO the warehouse will feature one of the largest dry-ice production lines in the Mid-Atlantic region.

GOLO anticipates the new facility will employ 50 local workers.

As part of the opening ceremonies, GOLO announced it is donating 100,000 meals to local food banks, food pantries, and community-based organizations to help combat food insecurity in Delaware over the coming year.

Organizations benefitting from the program include the Food Bank of Delaware, Sunday Breakfast Mission, Delaware Regional Dream Center, Warriors Helping Warriors, and the Police Athletic League of Wilmington.
