Jawan Box Office Collections Day 4: Jawan will now be eyeing to easily break Pathaan’s record at the box office, making it an epic–but amusing–box office clash between two Shah Rukh Khan films.

Superstar Shah Rukh Khan‘s Jawan is breaking old records and setting new benchmarks. The mass actioner released on September 7 and had an incredible opening day figure of Rs 75 crore all India nett. The film has now broken even that record, as it earned Rs 81 crore on Sunday, according to early estimates by industry tracker Sacnilk. This makes it the film which has recorded the highest single day collection.

Pathaan had netted Rs 70.50 crore pan-India (with Hindi collections at Rs 68 crore) on the second day of its release, which was January 26, a national holiday. Jawan has managed to surpass the figure on its fourth day, which was a Sunday.

Jawan is Shah Rukh Khan’s second feature film this year after the historic success of his Pathaan. The spy actioner, which marked Shah Rukh’s return to the big screen after four years, created history with lifetime collections of Rs 524 crore Hindi and Rs 543 crore including all versions.
