Market Update: JPM, WBA, QSRStocks were mixed on Friday after briefly rising following new inflation data. The PPI fell 0.1% in December, following a 0.1% decrease in November and 0.4% decrease in October. However, oil prices jumped today after the U.S. and British forces struck several Houthi targets in a move aimed at diminishing the group’s capabilities in the area. On the earnings front, airline stocks are down, after Delta lowered its 2024 guidance. Bank stocks also have begun reporting. The Dow fell 0.5%, while the S&P 500 was nearly flat, and the Nasdaq was up 0.1%. Crude oil traded near $74 per barrel, while gold rose $37 to $2056 per ounce.
