‘Leo’ box office collection day 11: Vijay starrer joins the 500-crore club | Tamil Movie News

Vijay featuring ‘Leo‘ was released in theatres on October 19 on the occasion of Ayudha Pooja, and the film opened well at the box office. Though the action drama saw a dip at the box office on some weekdays, it bounced back to earn solid numbers during the second week. And as per latest update the film has surpassed Rs 500 crore worldwide.
After storming across the globe during the first weekend, ‘Leo’ has slightly slowed down in many locations.However, the immense response to the film inTamil Nadu, Kerala, and a few other overseas locations made the film gain good numbers. On Sunday (October 29), Lokesh Kanagaraj‘s directorial has reportedly earned Rs 25 crore globally, and it has taken the overall collection of Vijay’s film to Rs 509 crore. The domestic collection of ‘Leo’ is said to be over Rs 310 crore, while the overseas collection is soon to reach the 200-crore mark.

‘Leo’ has become the only fourth Tamil film to earn over Rs 500 crore after ‘2.0’, ‘Ponniyin Selvan 1′, and ‘Jailer‘, and it’s also the first of Vijay and Lokesh Kanagarah to achieve the feat. ‘Leo’ has already moved into the profit zone across locations. Meanwhile, the happy makers are preparing to conduct a success meet for the film to express their gratitude to fans and the audience for their immense response to the film.
