Live Kent traffic updates as ‘serious’ crash closes lane in Faversham

A lane remains closed in Faversham after a “serious” crash this morning. Box Lane is still shut in both directions after the incident at around 7.40am.

It is closed between Eastling Road and Stalisifield Road. A spokesperson for South East Coast Ambulance Service said: “I can confirm we have attended a serious road traffic collision on Box Lane, Faversham, reported to us at approximately 7.15am today.”




He was unable at this time, to give more details. Although unconfirmed as yet, it is believed the crash involved a motorcycle.

Ambulance service confirms the crash was ‘serious’

A spokesperson for South East Coast Ambulance Service said: “I can confirm we have attended a serious road traffic collision on Box Lane, Faversham, reported to us at approximately 7.15am today.”

He was unable to give more details at this time.

Crash is believed to be serious

The crash in Box Lane, which has closed the route in both directions, is believed to be a serious accident. A motorcycle was involved in the collision between Eastling Road and Stalisfield Road. KentLive is awaiting an official statement from Kent Police.
