LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Louisville is ranked as one of the best places to travel to in 2024 by a travel publication.
Frommer’s Travel Guides named Kentucky as one of 15 destinations from around the world, highlighting the state’s largest city. Louisville will play host to the 150th Kentucky Derby, the 2024 PGA Championship and an ever-growing bourbon scene.
“Kentucky is quickly shaping itself into the Napa Valley of the Heartland, but with bourbon,” Dan Renzi writes in the publication. “Go now, before those charming country back roads are clogged with tour buses.”
Kentucky joins a list including Seville, Spain, Brisbane, Australia, Panama City, Panama, Santa Fe, New Mexico, Nepal and other destinations.
