Macon business preps orders ahead of the Super Bowl

MACON, Ga. — While the players prepare for the big game on Sunday and we prepare to watch… local businesses are getting ready too.

“We’ll still be prepping wings tonight and tomorrow. Normally I come in about 7 or 8 o’clock Superbowl Sunday and start prepping wings. We’ll have wings prepped inside and wings prepped outside so that we don’t have to stop,” said Carl Fembro of Francar’s Wings.

Francar’s Buffalo Wings is gearing up to serve hungry football fans all day on Sunday.

Fambro says they’ve been prepping for almost a week to meet the Super Bowl rush.

He and his crew have an organized system, and took plenty of preorders for folks to pick up their food at different time slots throughout the day.

“…biggest time is from 3:30 to 5:30, that’s the rush. People pick up wings at 12 o’clock but that’s for driving out of town or they want to get in and beat the crowd. Once 3:30 starts, all the fryers will be dedicated to cooking wings,” he said.

Francar’s is typically closed on Sundays, but they will have special operating hours from noon until halftime of the game.
