Man arrested after string of downtown Asheville, North Carolina, car break-ins, police say

Owens is charged with breaking or entering a motor vehicle and felony possession of a controlled Schedule II substance.Owens was booked into the Buncombe County Detention Facility under a $15,000 secured bond issued by the magistrate, Booth said. Owens was found and taken into custody later that evening in the area of Haywood Street.
