Team India is facing New Zealand in the semi-final match of the ongoing World Cup 2023 in Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai on Wednesday. On this historic occasion, movie stars from all over the country were there to cheer for the team. Rajinikanth, Ranbir Kapoor, Kiara Advani, John Abraham, Vicky Kaushal, and Sidharth Malhotra among many others were there in the stands as they cheered for the Men in Blue.

Anushka Sharma was present to shower husband Virat Kohli with kisses as he became the first male cricketer to score 50 centuries in ODI cricket, and Virat was more than happy to acknowledge her presence as he scored his century.

Rajinikanth watched the match at Wankhede with his family. Soundarya Rajinikanth shared some photos from the venue and wrote in the caption, “Let’s hope we go to the finals ✨✨✨🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻❤️❤️❤️❤️ go india 🇮🇳🙏🏻👏🏻👏🏻”

Ranbir Kapoor was present to promote his upcoming film Animal but soon after he was done with the promotions, he changed into the Indian team jersey and cheered the team on. Alongside Ranbir, John Abraham was also photographed in the stands.

Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra were also present to cheer them team on.

Vicky Kaushal, who will soon be seen in Sam Bahadur, was also spotted in the stands.

Madhuri Dixit and her husband Dr Nene were also clicked at Wankhede.

English football player David Beckham, who is touring India for a UNICEF program, was also there at Wankhede and witnessed the historic innings played by Virat Kohli.

Back in 2011, India won the World Cup at Wankhede Stadium.
