Actors Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna are currently busy promoting their upcoming film, Animal. The duo recently appeared on Indian Idol season 14, and set the stage on fire with their performance on the song “Saami Saami,” from the Allu Arjun-starrer Pushpa, which also featured Rashmika. In a video doing rounds on the internet, Ranbir and singer Kumar Sanu stole the show with their funny and adorable dance performance.
Ranbir helped Sanu with the famous hook-step of the song. The veteran singer, who could not keep up with the others, was puzzled. Shreya Ghoshal, Shaan and Rashmika also joined the duo, who at one point started dancing as a unit, with Ranbir grabbing the singer’s waist.
Ranbir, Rashmika and Bobby Deol are currently in Chennai. Ranbir opened up about Tamil cinema at the press meet and said, “The Tamil audience has a very strong fan base, the way they celebrate their stars and their entries onscreen is so big. Be it Rajini sir, Thalapathy Vijay or Ajith sir, they have a huge craze here. I love it.” (As tweeted by strategist Siddarth Srinivas)

Praising director Sandeep Reddy Vanga, he said, “Sandeep is a very original filmmaker. Usually, there will be a reference brought ahead by a filmmaker. But Sandeep and the scenes that he narrates are so original, it’s fresh. The entire film is based on ‘a son and his obsession for his father’.”
Also starring Anil Kapoor in a pivotal role, Animal has already sold over 111,000 tickets across India. The film had an impressive advance booking collection of Rs 3.4 crore, according to industry tracker Sacnilk. Animal will clash with Vicky Kaushal’s Sam Bahadur. Pushpa 2, on the other hand, will be released next year.
