Johann Smith
Travel management company Reed & Mackay has appointed Johann Smith as managing director of its operations in France.
Smith has been with the TMC for close to nine years, most recently serving as its administrative and financial director. In his new role, Smith said he will focus on “quality of service and technological innovation at the service of people”. He will report to Reed & Mackay Europe CEO Julie Oliver.
The TMC said Smith’s appointment will “ensure continuity in France” following its 2021 acquisition of local TMC Frequent Flyer Travel Paris (FFTP). Since the rebrand, the TMC said it has “maintained its growth”, while a recent customer survey revealed a 95 per cent satisfaction rate.
“It is essential to provide local expertise and services, while ensuring a global presence to meet the needs of our international customers,” Oliver said. “As member of our French management team for seven years and now managing director, Johann is the best guarantor of this approach.”
The company, part of the Navan group, recently expanded into Spain and Sweden following a series of acquisitions.
