Police in Spartanburg are searching for suspects after a shooting Friday afternoon prompted a school to go on lockdown. Police said they were called about 12:15 p.m. to Cresent Avenue and Crestview Drive about a shooting. Spartanburg County dispatchers informed police that a male had been shot near the intersection and was lying in the middle of the roadway asking for help.
