The Biden administration’s top trade officials are spending the second half of August in Asia for talks in a region that still accounts for half of America’s top 10 merchandise trading partners.
Trade Representative Katherine Tai was in Indonesia today for meetings with the US-ASEAN Business Council and government officials. She’s heading to India for a G-20 trade and investment ministers’ gathering through Saturday, which will include talks on the sidelines with European and Japanese officials.
