Thangalaan Teaser Out: Vikram Amazes In This Thrilling Action Film

Directed by Pa. Ranjith, Thangalaan starring Vikram is set to hit screens in 2024. The movie also includes Parvathy Thiruvothu, Malavika Mohanan who will be seen in pivotal roles.

The trailer of Vikram’s most-anticipated film, Thangalaan is here! Directed by Pa. Ranjith, the trailer features Vikram in a rustic avatar, which is a never-seen-before look by fans. Vikram, who is known to play versatile characters in his films, plays the role of a person who belongs to an indigenous group.

Studio Green, the producers of the movie posted “Set your reminders. The #Thangalaan release date will be unveiled today at 5 PM by our @chiyaan sir himself”. The trailer was launched by Vikram on his social media page.

About Thangalaan

Thangalaan marks the first collaboration between ace director Pa. Ranjith and Chiyaan Vikram. The film features an ensemble cast including Parvathy Thiruvothu, Malavika Mohanan, Pasupathy and Harikrishnan Anbudurai among others.

The film is touted to be a period drama film, set in the Kolar Gold Fields. It will revolve around the dispute over the land between the indigenous people of the area and foreign forces. The cinematography is by Kishore Kumar, while Selva handles the editing. The film is bankrolled by Pa. Ranjith’s own Production House Neelam Productions, and Studio Green.

Thangalaan To be bagged by a big production?

Producer Dhananjeyan revealed that, Gnanavel Raja, who owns Studio Green is currently in Mumbai, and is in talks to collaborate with a top production house to take the film to international markets.

It made me think how such a wonderful story can be written. We all got excited watching RRR because it had a soul. It had a story about how a child gets taken away where one man puts up a fight to get her back, and another person comes to his support. It’s a story that connects with us easily.
