Thirteen Albion players head off on international duty

England under-23 – Maisie Symonds, Poppy Pattinson and Katie Robinson.

Maisie is back in the England squad for the first time in more than a year after being ruled out for most of last season through injury and illness. 

She’ll join her fellow Albion teammates Poppy Pattinson and Katie Robinson as they prepare to take on France and Spain.

Norway – Guro Bergsvand, Elisabeth Terland and Maria Thorisdottir

Our Norwegian trio have one again been selected for their next couple of UEFA Women’s Nations League matches. 

The squad will continue their Group B campaign against Portugal at the Ullevaal Stadion in Oslo, before facing Austria in the NV Arena.

Colombia – Jorelyn Carabali 

Jorelyn has again been called up to the Colombian national team as they host New Zealand in two friendlies during the international break. 

The first game is in Estadio El Campín in Bogota before they travel to Estadio Metropolitano de Techo also in the Colombian capital.

China – Li Mengwen

Li Mengwen has again been selected to represent China this international period.

Li has been called up the Chinese squad for their upcoming friendlies against USA in Florida and then Dallas.

Australia – Charlie Rule 

Rule is hoping to make her senior debut in the Matildas’ forthcoming friendlies in Canada.

Greece – Veatriki Sarri

Vea has once again been called up to the Greece national team as they face Serbia and Poland in their Group G UEFA Nations League matches.

  • Tuesday 5 December: Poland (ArcelorMittal Park, Sosnowiec)

Portugal – Tatiana Pinto

Tatiana will represent Portugal again this international break when they take on Norway, where the Albion midfielder might come up against three of her teammates, in a Nations League qualifier. Portugal will then face France in Leiria.

Sweden – Julia Zigiotti

Julia Zigiotti heads off on international duty with Sweden.

Julia has again been called up to the Swedish national team ahead of their run of UEFA Nations League Group D fixtures.

  • Friday 1 December: Switzerland (Swissporarena, Lucerne)
  • Tuesday 5 December: Spain (La Rosaleda, Malaga)

Belgium – Nicky Evrard 

Nicky has been called up by Belgium as they prepare for another round of Nations League action.

The Red Flames will entertain Scotland squad before travelling to face Netherlands in Tilburg.
