Proving that you’re never too old to change it up, fashion designer Vera Wang has wowed her fans with a bold new look.
Taking to Instagram, the 74-year-old donned a platinum blonde wig for a photo shoot, and it sent her followers wild.

In the photos, Wang is also wearing dark sunglasses, long black leather gloves and a gathered silver dress, all from her own label.
“Sometimes … a little change doesn’t hurt. XXV,” the photos by Till Janz were captioned.
Wang regularly makes headlines for her ageless looks, posting photographs on social media that show off her lithe frame and seemingly wrinkle-free visage.
The blonde look was a hit, with fans flocking to the comments section to say how good she looked.
“Oh I love it! Atomic Blonde!” one fan wrote.
“Blonde bombshell,” added another.
“Love it! Do blondes have more fun?” wondered another.
“OMG I can’t even, insane, gorgeous 🔥🔥🔥🔥,” gushed one follower.
Another said Wang looked like a K-pop star.
“And a little change can be good!” said one.
“The blonde highlights different features on your face, ie your lips,” one person noted.
Another simply said: “SLAYYYY!🔥🔥❤️❤️.”
For anyone thinking Wang had made a permanent change to her hair colour rather than donning a wig, she followed up with another photo showing herself back with her natural dark hair.
In the photo, Wang is sipping on a McDonald’s Coke, surrounded by racks of bridal dresses.
Wearing a white singlet and huge aviator sunglasses, she looks considerably younger than her 74 years.
“A DAY IN THE LIFE,” the photo is captioned.
Another photograph shows a box of delicious looking donuts sent by a friend, while a third shows Wang taking a mirror selfie.
“ICONIC,” one fan wrote.
“Vera runs on Dunkin’ (Donuts) and McD’s!” said another.
“All her favourite things … just missing PROSECCO 🥂🖤✨” added a third.
Joked one: “A Vera sweet life.”
Earlier this year, Wang admitted she was “shocked” by the internet’s obsession with her ageing-in-reverse looks.
The septuagenarian admitted that she never expected the reaction she got from the first photo to blow up back in 2021 – in which she showed off her abs in a bright orange crop top, white shorts and a black hoodie.
That post racked up 38,000 likes on Instagram and kickstarted Wang’s career as a social media star.
“I’ve been to the Met Gala. I’ve gone to the Oscars. It’s crazy,” she told People.
“If we planned something like this, it would’ve never happened.
“I guess it’s just that people have an idea of what 70 looks like today.
“I have so many friends that are 65 to 70 that look fabulous.
“But I have to say that hopefully, it’s a good thing.
“I hope it makes women feel more comfortable with themselves or confident, (and) that there are many definitions of what a woman can be.”
As for what keeps her young?
Vodka cocktails and work, apparently.
“Nobody believes me when I say it, but working keeps you young,” she said.
“It keeps your mind young, and your spirit up and your relevance up, which I think affects your body.
“I have to say, sleep, staying out of the sun without sunblock, and good lighting is everything too!
“And one of the things I am known to like to do is have a vodka cocktail.”
