Powell brings with him extensive experience in the automotive industry, having worked for Toyota and Pacific Bell, as well as owning multiple automotive shops and teaching automotive for over a decade.

    Revitalizing the Program

    One of Powell’s main goals is to strengthen the Automotive Technology program and establish partnerships with local employers to ensure job opportunities for program graduates. The program, which is eligible for the HOPE Career Grant, is designed to prepare students for a high-demand career in the automotive industry.
