Live65 updates

  • Dyaisha Fair is back in the game after being carried off with a potential leg injury. Buckle up. The Orange love to storm back and take a win behind Fair’s deep-hitting theatrics. If Arizona pulls if off, it would be the fifth 11-over-6 upset of the week for the women’s and men’s sides combined.

  • Final: Iowa 91, Holy Cross 65

It wasn’t the cleanest effort from the Hawkeyes but they get the ‘W’ regardless. Caitlin Clark finishes just short of a triple-double with 27 points, 10 assists and eight rebounds in the opener.

  • 4Q: No. 6 Syracuse 51, No. 11 Arizona 51

Syracuse needs someone to step up and score in the fourth quarter besides Dyaisha Fair. That’s usually guard Georgia Woolley (13.9 ppg) or guard Alaina Rice (10 ppg). Woolley is 2-2 for six points. Rice hasn’t made a basket in four tries and is 4-of-8 from the free throw line for four points.

  • Caitlin Clark just got her 10th assist. She needs another two rebounds to get a triple-double

  • Zags are scorching right now. They’ve stretched it to an 18-point edge over Kansas.

  • Gonzaga has opened up an 11-point lead with a 13-0 run

  • Could the FGCU women pull off a 12 vs. 5 upset for the 2nd year in a row?

  • The 2nd half is underway for Zags-Jayhawks and the action has NOT slowed down!

  • Clark is up to 21 points, but isn’t having a solid shooting day. She’s 5-of-14, and 3-of-7 from 3-point range. The senior is clearly frustrated and that 22-point lead doesn’t mean this game is safe for the Hawkeyes to ease up. Iowa has given up a few large leads, something surely on Clark’s mind today.

  • The Hawkeyes are up 22 but clearly not playing their best basketball. Clark is nearing a triple-double but also has six turnovers and three fouls in the game.

  • Final: Indiana 89, Fairfield 56

  • Final/OT: Kansas 81, Michigan 72

The Jayhawks owned the overtime period and ran away from the Wolverines. They’ll likely play USC in the second round.

  • After Syracuse lost in their first game of the ACC Tournament, Felisha Legette-Jack said her team needed to “figure out how to play on this stage.” The No. 6 seed Orange came back within five of No. 11 Arizona, 37-32, but 13 turnovers are tough to overcome.

  • Clark had a few highlight-reel plays in the first half, including this pull-up 3 from deep.

  • Halftime: Kansas 44, Gonzaga 43

An electric first half is in the books in Salt Lake City. Hunter Dickinson’s 13 points leads the way for Kansas. Braden Huff has 11 for the Zags.

  • The Hawkeyes will head into the half with a 48-30 lead. It was a slow start but they found their rhythm in the second quarter.

    Clark’s stats: 13 points, 7 assists, 5 rebounds
