Adele signs new deal for her Las Vegas residency as she extends sell-out shows for the second time

Adele recently took to Instagram to thank fans for the ‘life changing’ Las Vegas residency and it seems the singer is set to continue her reign at the venue.

The Hello hitmaker has signed a bumper new deal to extend her sell-out shows across the pond yet again, The Sun has reported.

This will be the second time the show has been extended, dashing fan hopes that a world tour was perhaps in the singer’s near future.

The series of shows, titled Weekends With Adele at Colosseum At Caesars Palace, are scheduled to run until June 2024 following a short break next month, after her current stint finishes on November 4.

The star soared back into the charts in 2021 with her fourth album 30 and has since been selling out her Vegas residency.

A source told the publication: ‘Vegas is perfect Adele. It means she can perform regularly for her fans without having to have life on the road.

‘It’s only a short trip from LA once a week so when she’s not on stage she is able to still be with her son Angelo

‘A second extension has been agreed and looks set to be announced during her final weekend next month.’

MailOnline have contacted Adele’s representatives for comment.

Adele has spoke about her struggles with fame in the past and how her priority is a stable life for her and her son, something the life of a touring popstar doesn’t always guarantee.

Earlier this week Adele thanked her fans for sharing ‘soulful and heartbreaking interactions’ during her Vegas stint.

Taking to Instagram with a heartfelt post she shared a highlight reel of herself with her fans.

In the montage, Adele could be seen as she hugged members of the crowd, signed autographs, received flowers and shed a tear on stage.

The musician wrote: ‘This residency, these shows have changed my life. I desperately needed to fall back in love with performing live again, and I have.

Grateful: The musician wrote: ‘This residency, these shows have changed my life. I desperately needed to fall back in love with performing live again, and I have’
Hugs: She continued: ‘I needed to reconnect with my songs and remember what they mean to me, and I have!’

‘I needed to reconnect with my songs and remember what they mean to me, and I have.

‘Being on stage over the last year so up close and personal with an audience again after all these years has been a truly extraordinary restorative experience that I’ll never forget.

‘All the hilarious, soulful, wild and heartbreaking interactions we’ve had are banked in my mind for life. The looks on your faces, seeing you laugh and cry together singing your hearts out and hoarding bags of confetti.

‘All the simi dolls, friendship bracelets, flowers, facetime calls and flags. It’s crazy how joyful a show full of sad songs can be!! I’ve felt so much and learned so much about myself and you.

‘It’s humanised everything I thought was scary. Mostly though – it’s just made me realise how much I really enjoy being on stage, that I’m bl****y good at it and that it is 100% where I belong!

‘So let’s go one last time before I turn into a showgirl forever! Love you and I’ll see you on the other side soon x’
