T-Series finally clarified that they are not presently involved in the development or production of Aashiqui 3. In a media statement, the team said, “We categorically deny any ongoing rumours suggesting that Aashiqui 3 is being produced under a different title by T- Series. Early estimates show that ‘Dune Part Two’ earned Rs 1.40 crore nett in India on its fifth day, across all languages. The film has grossed Rs 14.05 crore (English and Hindi) in India.
The film is the second of two adaptations of Frank Herbert’s 1965 novel ‘Dune’. It follows Paul Atreides, who joins forces with the Fremen of the desert planet Arrakis to fight House Harkonnen.
Alia Bhatt will star in an action movie set in the YRF spy universe, with filming scheduled to begin later this year, Yash Raj Films CEO Akshaye Widhani announced Tuesday.
Widhani, speaking at FICCI Frames, described the YRF spy universe as “a financial and cultural juggernaut” and one of the studio’s most valuable intellectual properties.
“I will share the worst-kept secret in the industry, which is Alia Bhatt is headlining a spy universe film and that the schedule starts later this year … We are actually just so thrilled and excited about having this IP in the studio,” Widhani said.
“There’s a lot of stuff that’s going to come into the spy universe. We are going to see more and more films getting made under it. For now, I can just say that Alia Bhatt is headlining a spy universe film,” he added.
