Billy Joel releases new song; Margot Robbie and Greta Gerwig miss out on Oscar nominations for Barbie

It is decidedly not a Barbie world after two favourites were snubbed in this morning’s Oscar nominations.

Greta Gerwig missed out for Best Director and Margot Robbie for Best Actress and it is safe to say fans were not happy.

One Twitter user asked how Ryan Gosling could be nominated for Best Supporting Actor while another posted Margot and Greta not being acknowledged for their work was “way to justify the literal plot of the movie”.
