BOURNEMOUTH GOES ALL IN WITH LATEST DEAL

AFC Bournemouth has inked a multi-year partnership with the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA), the US city’s official tourism board.

Under the agreement, the ‘Visit Las Vegas’ logo will be displayed on the Cherries’ training kit sleeve.

The LVCVA will also benefit from branding exposure throughout the Premier League club’s 11,300-capacity Vitality Stadium home and will launch matchday activations with the South Coast club.

Jim Frevola, AFC Bournemouth’s President of Business Operations, said, “Our ownership having roots in Vegas, and with the city itself fast becoming an important sporting destination, this makes for a strong relationship.

“I’m thankful to all at LVCVA for working with us to make this happen, and I look forward to seeing what we can create together.”

Bournemouth owner Bill Foley, the US businessman who acquired the south coast club in December 2022, also owns NHL champions the Vegas Golden Knights.

Earlier this month, the LVCVA was involved in organising Super Bowl 58, which was staged at the Las Vegas Raiders’ Allegiant Stadium.

Since Foley’s arrival, Las Vegas has been identified as a key overseas market for the club. Earlier this month, the Cherries revealed partnership with Downtown Las Vegas Soccer Club, a non-profit football organisation, to support youth development.
