Breaking News: ISA Adds Three New Member Nations

The International Surfing Association (ISA), which oversees surfing in the Olympics, announced the addition of three new member states from three different continents. The new members are the British Virgin Islands, Kuwait, and Romania, constituting the 114th, 115th, and 116th nations to be officially recognized in global surfing. The addition of these nations reflects a proliferation of the sport in recent years to non-traditional surfing countries, in part due to the expansion of wave pools and the global reach of surf media.
