Breaking News, Latest News, Highlights Of January 26-27, 2024: Bihar’s political scenario has been witnessing changes as it is being speculated that Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will possibly cross over to the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) again amid his deepening differences with the allies of the INDIA bloc.
Bihar BJP president Samrat Choudhary and other senior leaders from the state, including Sushil Modi and Vijay Kumar Sinha, met the party’s top brass, including Amit Shah, in Delhi as the buzz grew that they are open to welcoming Kumar back into their fold. Meanwhile, RJD leaders have played down the rumours and insisted that everything is fine in the Mahagathbandhan government.
Congress leader Tariq Anwar said that the frequent changing of alliances by the Bihar CM will taint his image in the state. However, not denying the loss that it will cause to the opposition’s bloc, Anwar said that he feels Nitish Kumar will not take any such step which will tarnish the image of him and his party.
