Breaking News Live Updates – Today’s Latest News, March 11 2024: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate and lay foundation stones of 112 national highway projects across the country worth Rs 1 lakh crore from an event in Gurugram on Monday. PM Modi will inaugurate the Haryana section of the landmark Dwarka Expressway, which will help improve traffic flow and ease congestion between Delhi and Gurugram on the National Highway-48, the PMO said in a statement. Amid a political crisis in Himachal Pradesh, police registered a case against an independent MLA and the father of a Congress rebel and others over “electoral offences” related to the recent Rajya Sabha polls in which six party rebels voted for the BJP candidate. The case against Hamirpur’s independent MLA Ashish Sharma and Gagret’s now disqualified MLA Chetanya Sharma’s father and others was registered on the basis of a complaint lodged by Congress MLAs Sanjay Avasthi and Bhuvneshwar Gaur.
