Burlington police are investigating multiple shootings after receiving calls around 6:30 p.m. Saturday evening. BPD says one shooting took place in the vicinity of North Prospect Street, where they found two men shot and injured and a third a short distance away. No shooter has been identified. The two males found at the first location were treated by Burlington Fire Dept. and transported to UVM Medical Center. The third victim was immediately transported to UVM Medical by BPD. The investigation is in its earliest stages, and people are urged to avoid the North Prospect Street area.
