E/K-M hoops remain in latest NDAPSSA basketball polls – Jamestown Sun

JAMESTOWN — There are multiple local teams in the latest North Dakota Associated Press Sportscasters and Sportswriters Association Class B basketball polls.

The Edgeley/Kulm-Montpelier girls’ basketball team has stayed at No. 6 in the sixth poll, with a 7-2 record. The Rebels boys’ basketball team dropped from No. 5 to No. 8 after suffering their first loss of the season to No. 7-ranked Hankinson on Dec. 30. The loss drops their record to 5-1.

The Linton/Hazelton-Moffit-Braddock boys’ basketball squad moves up from No. 7 to No.6 in the latest poll thanks to a win over Bottineau on Dec. 29, to push their record out to 6-0. The Oakes Tornadoes girls’ basketball team is the final local squad to make the top 10 in the polls. The Tornadoes are 7-1 and enter the poll this week at No. 10. The Tornadoes are coming off a win over North Border on Dec. 28.
