Emirates adds premium economy to more long-haul routes

Emirates is rolling out its premium economy offering on more long-haul routes, the carrier announced on Thursday (28 September).

The Gulf carrier’s new premium economy cabins will be made available on services between Dubai and Sao Paulo from 19 November, which will initially operate three times weekly and scale up to daily flights in December, as well as on daily flights between Dubai and Tokyo Narita from 20 December. Tickets are now on sale.

With the addition of Sao Paulo and Tokyo Narita, Emirates’ newly retrofitted A380 aircraft, which includes the premium economy cabin, will be available to 14 destinations across its network, including to Mumbai and Bengaluru from 29 October.

First unveiled in 2021, the cabin features a “new look and feel” with 56 seats laid out in a 2-4-2 configuration, and is currently available on flights to London Heathrow, Sydney, Melbourne, Auckland, Christchurch, Singapore, Los Angeles, New York JFK, Houston and San Francisco.
