As Ajay Devgn turned 55 on Tuesday, producer Boney Kapoor wished the star and said that the actor has emerged as one of most valuable actors in the country.

Boney, who is producing the Ajay-starrer ‘Maidaan’, took to X (formerly called Twitter), to wish the actor, who will bring life to the story of coach Syed Abdul Rahim.

The producer wrote: “With his passion for cinema, versatility in roles, powerhouse performances and commitment to his art, Ajay has emerged as one of most valuable actors in our country.”

Boney then wished him a year full of health, happiness and prosperity.

“Wishing @ajaydevgn a very Happy Birthday. Pray for a healthy, prosperous year full of happiness ahead. #HappyBirthdayAjayDevgn,” he added.

The film talks about the life and journey of the esteemed football coach Syed Abdul Rahim, who revolutionised the sport in India. His contribution in football, the Indian Football Team was reportedly called ‘Brazil of Asia’ where they played in a 4-2-4 formation.

The film is scheduled to release on April 10. It also stars Priyamani and Gajraj Rao.

Celebrating Ajay Devgn’s birthday today, the team of Maidaan has released a sensational final trailer of the film. It features many of the dynamic challenges that Coach S. Abdul Rahim and his Indian football team faced before rewriting history for our nation in the field of football.

Based on the journey of a true legend, Maidaan shares the story of Coach Syed Abdul Rahim who brought pride to India through his dedication and pure passion for bringing glory to the nation. 

Directed by Amit Ravindernath Sharma, this epic sports biopic also features Priyamani, Gajraj Rao, and Bengali actor Rudranil Ghosh.

Produced by Zee Studios, Boney Kapoor, Arunava Joy Sengupta and Akash Chawla, screenplay and dialogues are written by Saiwyn Quadras and Ritesh Shah respectively, Music is by AR Rahman and Lyrics by Manoj Muntashir Shukla. The film is all set to release worldwide in theatres this Eid, 2024 on 10th April 2024 also in IMAX.

Priyanka Chopra Jonas, who serves as the narrator for the captivating tale of the planet’s most charismatic animal, the ‘Tiger,’ expressed her delight in lending her voice to the story and delving into the depths of the jungles portrayed in the film.

Describing ‘Tiger’ as a narrative encompassing themes of “love, conflict, hunger, and survival,” Priyanka announced that the film will debut on Disney+ Hotstar on Earth Day.

According to reports doing the rounds, not just Kareena Kapoor, but Kiara Advani has also been cast in a significant role in the upcoming Yash starrer ‘Toxic’. Initially announced last year, ‘Toxic’ marks Yash’s first project following the highly anticipated ‘KGF 2.’

Directed by Geethu Mohandas, the film has been the subject of speculation regarding its female lead since its title announcement last year. While recent reports suggested Kareena’s involvement, a new claim now states that Kiara has also signed on for the project.

One of Bollywood’s most serious actors, Ajay Devgn, turned 55 on Tuesday and his actress-wife had the most hilarious way of wishing her star husband.

Kajol took to social media and shared a picture of the actor.

The actress wrote: “Since I know your soooooo excited about your birthday that your jumping up and down like a kid and clapping your hands and turning in circles at the thought of your cake… lemme start the day off by wishing u a very very very happy birthday @ajaydevgn.”

“PS:- if anybody has a video of him doing any of this please send it to me immediately #BirthdayBoy,” she added.

Kajol and Ajay have worked together in several films such as ‘Gundaraj’, ‘Raju Chacha’, ‘Ishq’, ‘Pyaar Toh Hona Hi Tha’, ‘U, Me Aur Hum’ and ‘Tanhaji’, among many others.

In 1994, the two started dating while filming ‘Gundaraj’. The two got married in 1999 in a traditional Maharashtrian ceremony. In 2003, Kajol gave birth to their daughter Nysa and seven years later in 2010, she gave birth to their son Yug.
