EVA Air Extends Distribution Agreement with Amadeus

 EVA Air, a Star Alliance member, has has renewed
its distribution
agreement with Amadeus.

As the Taiwan-based carrier continues to develop
its distribution strategy, the extended partnership prepares the
way for EVA to roll out NDC-sourced content powered by Altea
NDC technology.

When fully integrated, travel sellers can expect
more diverse and personalized offers from the carrier via the
Amadeus Travel Platform.

“Amadeus is delighted to
extend our existing relationship with EVA Air,” said Frederic Saunier,
Vice President, Airline Distribution, Asia Pacific, Amadeus. “With NDC
technology, EVA Air will improve its retailing capabilities to
tailor offerings for its customers and unlock new opportunities
for travelers and travel sellers alike. As the leading
Taiwan-based carrier, EVA Air will play an important role in the
deployment of NDC in Asia and Amadeus is ready to assist on that
journey.”

Since EVA’s maiden flight took off on 1 July 1991,
the Taiwan-based airline has continued to grow and today serves
more than 60 major business and tourist destinations around the
world with passenger and cargo services.

partner to EVA Air. We are delighted to extend our existing
distribution agreement today and are set to develop our New
Distribution Capability (NDC) offering moving forward,” said EVA
