French President Macron to be chief guest for Republic Day 2024: Report

India has invited French President Emmanuel Macron to be the chief guest at the Republic Day celebrations on January 26, PTI reported on Friday citing sources. India had invited US President Joe Biden as the chief guest but he expressed inability to travel to New Delhi in January, the report added. Notably, Macron attended the G20 Summit in September.
