Google Pixel’s New NBA Ads See the Pick-Up Game of the Decade

Google Pixel, the official fan phone of the NBA, wants rival smartphone makers to know they got next.

In “Okay, I See You,” the energetic campaign created in collaboration with The Robot Company and DAPS/Anonymous Content, a small outdoor pick-up game becomes “the greatest of all time,” featuring a who’s who of athletes, superfans, some “well-seasoned” ballers and even a Marvel superhero getting in the game on and off the court.

With only 1% of basketball fans having the opportunity to attend a live NBA game, the brand wanted to show the remaining fandom the many ways the phone’s features can enhance their enjoyment of the sport, including “live translate” for international exchanges and “magic eraser” to keep an accidental photobomb from ruining an otherwise clutch shot.
