As part of the digitalisation of optometry, HOYA Lens Australia is launching a series of new systems and applications to drive growth and streamline processes for independents – starting with HOYA Digital Fitting.

HOYA Digital Fitting is described as an iPad video centration application that takes accurate and precise position of wear (POW) measurements, as well as simulating the lens design to support optimal dispensing.

The application is designed to deliver a comfortable and technologically advanced experience for every patient, HOYA stated.

According to the company, key benefits include:

  • No jig or other attachments required to capture precise POW measurements
  • Delivers a unique patient experience
  • Assists with optimal frame and lens combination
  • Minimises errors and reduces remakes
  • Seamlessly transfers patient data to HOYA Consultation Centre 360

“The HOYA Digital Fitting application is far superior to traditional measuring tools such as a pupillometer, pen or PD ruler,” HOYA said.

“Adopting this cutting-edge technology enhances your practice, projecting a more modern and professional image. Fast track the digitalisation of your practice.”
