I was wrong, children should absolutely be allowed in business class

And how in the heavens are you supposed to get a toddler to sleep sitting up? It’s bordering on inhumane, not just for him and us, but everyone in the vicinity who will have to suffer through his inevitable protestations. At least in business class there would be a bit of space to walk him up and down, and a bed for him to sleep in, possibly even for a good chunk of the flight.

These are, of course, considerations that don’t even enter your cortex before you’ve had children, which as far as I can see, Ms Lion has not. I’m not sure she would have otherwise replied to one of her followers who asked where she thought business class parents should seat their offspring, with the suggestion: “I don’t know, put them in the luggage hold or something I guess.”

Indeed, I’m willing to bet, Ms Lion, that you, like I did, will do a full 180 on this topic, if you’re still making decent cash by the time your first little darling comes along. And if my family wins the lottery (we have entered) before boarding our 12-hour Boeing 787 battlefield next month, we’ll see you at the front.
