Jawan box office collection day 11: Shah Rukh Khan becomes the only Indian artiste to score two $100+ million grossers in a single year with Jawan and Pathaan.
Superstar Shah Rukh Khan led Jawan had a blockbuster second weekend, where it grossed over 100 cr across all versions in the country, making the mass actioner an unstoppable force at the box office. According to industry tracker Sacnilk, the film netted an estimated Rs 36 cr on Sunday.
With the film’s second Sunday collections, the 11-day total of Jawan–including Hindi, Tamil and Telugu–stands at Rs 477.28 crore. Jawan also became the fastest Bollywood film to enter the Rs 400 cr club on Sunday, with its Hindi collections being an estimated Rs 430 cr.
The Atlee directorial is also recording mammoth collections overseas. Jawan has scored a whopping $104 million (Rs 860 cr) through its run so far, Sacnilk reported. With this, Shah Rukh Khan has become the first and the only Indian artiste to score two $100+ million grossers in a single year. His January release Pathaan had crossed the landmark earlier.

Jawan is now looking at securing every major record at the box office. Currently, Pathaan stands as the highest grossing Bollywood film with Rs 524 cr nett in Hindi and Rs 543 cr all India versions. As per trade estimates, Jawan will eye a finish at Rs 550 cr in Hindi version alone, while its all India nett would be close to Rs 600 cr.
Even the worldwide record of Pathaan of Rs 1055 cr will be toppled by Jawan in its lifetime, as the film has already raked in Rs 860 cr globally. As and when Jawan hits the Rs 1000 mark, it will also make Shah Rukh the only Indian artiste to have two Rs 1000 cr grossers in a single year.
Also starring Nayanthara, Vijay Sethuptahi, Sanya Malhotra and Sunil Grover aong others, Jawan released to acclaim on September 7. The film also featured Deepika Padukone in a special appearance. Post Jawan, Shah Rukh will be next seen in Dunki, scheduled for a Christmas release.
