Kendall Jenner, Megan Thee Stallion, and Chrissy Teigen were among a number of stars who shared their incredible Halloween costumes on Tuesday.
Jenner’s seventies retro Halloween costume received the approval from none other than the original Wonder Woman herself, Lynda Carter.
The 72-year-old cabaret crooner Instastoried a snap of the 27-year-old Society Management Model dressed as the star-spangled DC Comics superhero with the caption: ‘You’re doing amazing, sweetie.’
Lynda was quoting Kendall’s much-memed momager Kris Jenner, who famously cheered on daughter Kim Kardashian with the same phrase during her 2007 pearl-laden Playboy shoot captured on their E! reality show.
At 5ft10in tall, Jenner is definitely the right height to play an immortal Amazon warrior from the male-free Paradise Island aka Themyscira.
The 818 Tequila founder also shared a clip of herself performing the spin transformation where Diana Prince magically turns into Wonder Woman with a twist of her body.
It was Carter who originated the ‘spin transformation’ when she starred in the original ABC/CBS series (1975-1979), and it was later incorporated into the comic books.
The feminist icon was originally created by the American psychologist and writer William Moulton Marston and artist Harry G. Peter way back in 1941.
Patty Jenkins’ 2017 film starring Gal Gadot was critically-acclaimed and amassed $822.9M at the box office, but her 2020 sequel Wonder Woman 1984 received dismal reviews and only earned $169.6M.
The third film of the female-led franchise was greenlit in 2020 but canceled last December because it ‘did not fit in’ newly-hired DC Studios bosses James Gunn and Peter Safran’s plans for the DCEU.
Kendall previously dressed up as Marilyn Monroe as well as Batman Forever’s Sugar & Spice with her younger sister Kylie Jenner.
Meanwhile Megan Thee Stallion managed to put a sexy twist on the Gremlins franchise for Halloween.
The 28-year-old Texas born rapper dressed as Greta from Gremlins 2: The New Batch on Thursday.
The Hot Girl Summer rapper put her stunning figure on display in a matching glittered silver and black leopard-patterned bralette and maxi skirt combination.
She showed true commitment to the highly-popular horror-comedy franchise films as her body was painted green with yellow down the middle of her torso, on her underarms, and face.
Like Greta she had long red fingernails with matching lipstick as she had large prosthetic ears which stuck out.
Megan wore a green wig which was worn down in wavy curls resembling actresses from the days of old Hollywood glamour.
The stunner completed the look with a long pink feather boa as she put on her best Greta poses.
She captioned the set of images to her 31.5million followers: ‘Greta Snow [green heart emoji]’
The character of Greta spawned as part of the new batch in the 1990 sequel of Gremlins as she was voiced by Joe Dante.
Greta famously attacked other Gremlins when they tried to hit on her but she was lovestruck for human character Frank Forster (portrayed by Robert Picardo) who worked at the Clam Center.
As Greta would cling onto him and forcibly kiss him, Forster was disgusted by her advances but eventually gave into her advantages by the end of the film.
Chrissy Teigen also enjoyed some Halloween fun, and dressed up as Pippi Longstocking for the occasion.
Like Pippi, she sported bright red braids that stuck out in the air, and red freckles throughout her face.
Her outfit also consisted of a blue and red dress, and mismatched knee-high socks.
The star joined her daughter Luna at Halloween festivities. One of her kids was also dressed up as the character from Where’s Waldo.
Meanwhile rapper Fat Joe dressed as Hollywood’s favorite weight loss drug, Ozempic.
