Latest Ford Puma ups its game with lots more tech and spec

The new Ford Puma

Ford today reveals details of its latest big-selling Puma.

There is a new car-style “cockpit” and new-tech cruise control that can slow you down as you approach junctions and bends.

A bird’s eye view makes parking much easier.

Power comes from one-litre mild-hybrid powertrains – ranging up to 155PS – and as much as 170PS for the ST Powershift model.

There is a 12.8in digital customisable instrument cluster and a 12in central SYNC 4 connectivity and infotainment system touchscreen. The system has twice the computing power of the previous version.

The Puma has an 80-litre megabox in the boot floor, big enough to swallow the contents of a small supermarket shopping trolley, while two golf bags can stand upright inside the boot.

And even with five people on board, there’s more than 450 litres of space for luggage, shopping or a dog cage.
