Live Huntingdon traffic updates today as crash on ring road sees police urge people to avoid area

Drivers are being urged to avoid a Cambs ring road following a crash today (Thursday, October 19). The crash has taken place in Huntingdon.

Police and paramedics remain at the scene of the incident, which is reported to involve two vehicles. Cambridgeshire Police urged motorists to find alternative routes at around 10.45am.




A Cambridgeshire Police spokesperson said: “People are being advised to avoid the Huntingdon ring road following a collision involving two vehicles.”

Inrix, the traffic data company, said: “Walden Road One Way Street partially blocked, slow traffic due to accident at Pathfinder Link Road.”

Crash on ring road near Huntingdon

There have been reports of a crash on a ring road near Huntingdon this morning (October 19). Two vehicles are reported to have been involved and Walden Road One Way Street is partially blocked.

Emergency services, including police and paramedics, are currently on the scene and motorists are being advised to avoid the area if possible.
