Live: Wales breaking news plus weather and traffic updates (Thursday, December 21)

People travelling for Christmas are being warned about “disruptive winds” that could batter parts of the UK later this week. The Met Office has issued a yellow warning for winds for parts of Wales today.

Northern parts of Wales are covered by the warning that is in place all day on Thursday, when lot of people are expected to start their Christmas getaway.

The affected areas include: Conwy, Denbighshire, Flintshire, Gwynedd, Isle of Anglesey, Powys, Wrexham.
