Warren Gatland holds early morning press conference

Warren Gatland has held press conference this morning following the announcement of his Wales team to play Portugal on Saturday.

Gatland has made 13 changes to his starting XV, with only Louis Rees-Zammit and Taulupe Faletau keeping their places after the narrow win over Fiji.. You are read what he said here.

Welsh village named one of Britain’s most beautiful

A pretty old fishing village with a picturesque harbour and a resemblance to a sought-after coastal hotspot has been named one of the most beautiful villages in the UK.

Solva is included in Condé Nast Traveller’s list of the UK’s 20 most beautiful towns and villages, and it really does have all the Welsh charm you could want, with its harbour punctuating the stunning Pembrokeshire coastline and the cutest houses you ever did see. Read more here.

Met Office forecast for Thursday

Cloudy with outbreaks of rain today, but drier into Friday. Here is the full forecast for Wales today:

Rain becoming slow-moving across the central swathe of the country, but turning lighter and patchier. Drier elsewhere with some hazy sunshine possible. Winds easing and feeling warm in any sunshine. Maximum temperature 20 °C.

Remaining cloudy for most as rain gradually moves northwards overnight and into Friday morning. Turning drier from the south with light winds. Minimum temperature 13 °C.
