Maine Amber Alert canceled after mother and daughter found safe

State police in Maine canceled an Amber Alert early Friday morning after they said a mother and daughter were found safe.Police said 3-year-old Angie Rodondi and her mother, 35-year-old Norma Rodondi Jimbikt, were forced into a white Ford Explorer with New York registration by a male suspect at approximately 11:30 a.m.Police said the two were residing in the Biddeford area, just south of Portland. Police said the vehicle crossed the tolls into New York State at 3:41 p.m. State Police canceled the alert just after 12:40 a.m. on Friday.
