The reports included theft of outside air conditioner units and other property from local churches. Palmyra Methodist Church, Corinth Church of Christ, and Friends Union Church all reported property stolen, according to officials. Several residences throughout Germanton, Walnut Cove, King, and Pinnacle communities were also victimized, officials say. On Monday, deputies say they located and arrested Ronnie Eugene Bowman Jr. He was charged with the following: One count breaking and enteringOne count larceny after breaking and enteringThree counts misdemeanor larcenyThree counts felony larcenyThree counts damage to propertyTwo counts obtaining property by false pretenseHe was placed in the Stokes County Jail under a $15,000 secured bond. His first court appearance is set for Oct. 10. Officials also say they anticipate having charges on additional suspects. This is an ongoing investigation. A man was arrested after stealing from multiple churches and residences throughout Stokes County, according to the Stokes County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies say they received a report of a breaking and entering on Mill Street, in the Pinnacle area, earlier this year.

After investigating, officials revealed a connection to other reported larcenies throughout Stokes County. The reports included theft of outside air conditioner units and other property from local churches.

Palmyra Methodist Church, Corinth Church of Christ, and Friends Union Church all reported property stolen, according to officials. Several residences throughout Germanton, Walnut Cove, King, and Pinnacle communities were also victimized, officials say.

On Monday, deputies say they located and arrested Ronnie Eugene Bowman Jr. He was charged with the following:

  • One count breaking and entering
  • One count larceny after breaking and entering
  • Three counts misdemeanor larceny
  • Three counts felony larceny
  • Three counts damage to property
  • Two counts obtaining property by false pretense

He was placed in the Stokes County Jail under a $15,000 secured bond. His first court appearance is set for Oct. 10. Officials also say they anticipate having charges on additional suspects.
