MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The University of Memphis Tigers will be one of 134 FBS teams included in the highly-anticipated release of EA Sports College Football 25.
The Memphis Tigers took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share that the University of Memphis was “in the game.”
EA Sports said players who opt in to the game will receive a minimum of $600 and a copy of EA Sports College Football 25. There will also be opportunities for them to earn money by promoting the game.
Over 11,000 NIL deals were offered to college players, according to the Associated Press.
Those players who opt out of the game will be replaced with a generic player created “based on the traditional strength or weakness of a position over the past decade for that school,” according to ESPN.
Memphis ended last season with a 10-3 record.
