Mission Raniganj song Keemti: Akshay Kumar and Parineeti Chopra song is easy on ears, but fails to recreate magic of ‘Ve Maahi’ | Bollywood News

After a peppy dance number, ‘Jalsa 2.0’, and a soulful rendition, ‘Jeeyenge’, the makers of Mission Raniganj released the third song from the film’s album, titled ‘Keemti’. Picturised on Akshay Kumar and Parineeti Chopra, the song is a romantic number. It has been sung and composed by Vishal Mishra. It has been penned by Kaushal Kishore and choreographed by Shabina Khan.

The song has Kumar and Chopra romancing against a picturesque backdrop. The beats and lyrics of the song fall easy on ears, but a look at the lead pair, reminds you of their song, ‘Ve Maahi’ from the movie Kesari, which became an instant hit upon its release as it captured the old-school romance at its best.
