Nebraska softball star Jordy Bahl will miss remainder of the season with a knee injury

Nebraska softball standout Jordy Bahl will miss the remainder of the season with a knee injury, the pitcher announced on social media.”In game 1 of opening weekend, in Puerto Vallarta, I experienced an injury to my acl that is going to cause me to support the Red Team in a different way than anticipated for the 2024 season,” Bahl posted on Instagram on Tuesday.Bahl said that she will redshirt this year and return to the Huskers in 2025. “I’m thankful for the support of my family, friends, coaches, and staff,” Bahl wrote.NU said that she will apply for a medical hardship, and is expected to have two seasons of eligibility remaining. “We are all disappointed to hear the news of Jordy’s season-ending knee injury.
